Santa Barbara County Courthouse
Santa Barbara, CA
This 10,120 SF project consisted of the interior rehabilitation of the basement, main, and mezzanine floors of one wing of the historic courthouse building. The scope of work included the addition of an elevator, ADA compliant restrooms, and the restoration of the large segmented circular skylight. The lighting and mechanical distribution systems of the main public lobby were seamlessly integrated into custom designed wood furniture.
M2 Architecture was architectural consultant to Burnell and Jewett Architects who were responsible for the design and restoration.
