Santa Barbara Museum of Art Grand Staircase
Santa Barbara, CA
This project consisted of the creation of a grand granite staircase and restoration of the existing sandstone plaza terrace. The recreation of bush-hammered concrete retaining walls with integrally formed bench seating match that originally designed by Lockwood deForest.
The addition of custom extruded profile doors was also undertaken at the three existing archway openings of the loggia.
